Justin Moody – The Universal Real Estate King

Born in Pasadena, California, Justin Moody is a visionary entrepreneur, veteran, and community builder whose journey has taken him from military service to media, music, real estate, and now revolutionary housing solutions. After serving as a Medical Technician in the United States Air Force from 2001 to 2005, Justin faced a season of homelessness in Long Beach, California. Rather than let it define him, he used it as fuel for reinvention. Starting as a janitor at Time Warner Cable, fate stepped in when a chance encounter with the company’s president led to an unexpected opportunity—an audition as a weatherman. From there, Justin launched his first TV show, Underground Live, a platform for raw underground hip-hop talent. That show evolved into the hit series Vegas World TV, capturing the wild side of Las Vegas nightlife and celebrity culture. In 2006, he sold the show to Sony, wrapping production in 2010. After Vegas chewed him up and spit him out, Justin sought a fresh start. A visit to Utah in 2011 turned into a permanent move that changed everything. He brought his entertainment background to Salt Lake City, promoting nearly every major hip-hop concert from 2011 to 2016. But another twist awaited—real estate. In 2017, Justin got licensed and never looked back. He found joy in building—not just homes, but legacies. In 2020, he opened Utah’s first Black-owned real estate brokerage, a milestone both empowering and humbling. Though he later closed the brokerage in 2022, it cleared the path for his true passion: building container tiny homes. Now the founder of a nonprofit that donates one tiny home per year to a veteran, Justin has helped create dozens of tiny homes and ADUs throughout Utah, with plans to expand worldwide. His mission is simple but bold: build community, uplift others, and leave a legacy bigger than himself.
